What are the Reasons we Lose Motivation

Staying motivated is always a challenge. We constantly struggle with negative thoughts, anxiety and fear of the future. Everyone occasionally faces doubts and depression, but what distinguishes successful people is the ability to separate such thoughts and continue to move forward according to celebrity speakers canada.

There is no simple solution to the lack of motivation. Because once you overcome this problem, it will come up again in the future. The key is in understanding thoughts and how emotions affect them.

Lose Motivation

Everyone should learn to nurture motivating thoughts, neutralize the negative and focus on the tasks ahead, and stop the demoralizing thoughts before they become dominant.

Reasons we lose motivation:

Lack of confidence - If I do not believe I will succeed, what is the purpose of trying.

Lack of Focus - If I don't know what exactly I want, how will I accomplish it.

Lack of direction - If I don't know how to do something, how to motivate myself for it.

How to increase self-confidence?

The first killer of motivation is a lack of confidence. Your lack of confidence usually comes at times when you are just focused on what you want rather than thinking about what you have. When you just think about what you want, your brain automatically creates explanations and answers the questions why you don't have it already. And it all diminishes confidence, creates bad habits, encourages jealousy, envy for those who have it.

The way to get rid of these thoughts is to create a positive attitude and become grateful for what you have. Change the focus from desires to what you already have. Make a mental list of things you are proud of, thank you for, past successes and current strengths. This will make you understand how competent and successful you are. It will restore your confidence and restore your motivation.

How to Focus

Another killer of motivation is lack of focus. How often do you rather focus on what you do not want than on a specific goal? As a rule, people think in terms of fear. We are afraid of poverty. We are afraid they will not answer us. We are afraid that we will be embarrassed. We are afraid of being left alone. The problem with this mindset is that it does not encourage us to take action. Instead of doing something, fear exhausts motivation.

Therefore, the first step in getting out of these thoughts is to define goals. After defining the goals, the actions that need to be taken to reach the goal appear on their own. If you are afraid of poverty, create a plan to increase your income.

Direction development

If focus means having a goal, direction means having a day-to-day strategy for how to achieve the goal. Lack of direction kills motivation and leads to delay. An example is people who want to have a popular blog, but instead of writing daily texts (which should be their strategy), they spend hours reading other people's blogs. This of course kills their motivation.
